In line with the communication and organizational dynamism of the party’s collective leadership, headed by Ms. Fatima Al-Zahra Al-Mansouri, and as part of her commitment to ensuring the success of the first edition of the PAM Youth Summer University—which aims to foster close communication, provide guidance, and encourage young people to engage in politics and take responsibility for managing local affairs— some members of the functional committees working alongside the local secretariat of Oulad Barhil gathered for a consultative meeting last Saturday at the party’s Oulad Barhil headquarters, chaired by Mr. Mohamed Afkis, the party’s local secretary. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss recent developments in the political and organizational spheres of the party, as well as the challenges facing the local population.
Following a discussion of the future work strategy for certain functional committees based on their respective mandates, a number of training and outreach activities were planned in the areas of youth, women, and public policy, as well as training for the party’s elected officials, to be carried out in the near future.

The meeting addressed the need to find urgent solutions to enable some female students from the Tougmert community to benefit from accommodation and meal services at the Ait Iazza Student Residence, in line with the principles of equal opportunity and combating school dropout rates. Mr. Mohamed Afkis, the party’s local secretary, committed to this by intervening with the relevant authorities.
The meeting concluded with the local party secretary calling on everyone to join the party, revitalize it, and participate collectively in preparing a new generation capable of solving the population’s problems and achieving local development.
