الأمم المتحدة: المملكة العربية السعودية تجدد دعمها لمبادرة الحكم الذاتي والوحدة الترابية للمغرب

جددت المملكة العربية السعودية، أمام اللجنة الـ24 للأمم المتحدة، دعمها لمبادرة الحكم الذاتي في الصحراء المغربية في إطار السيادة والوحدة الترابية للمملكة.

وقال ممثل المملكة في اجتماع اللجنة الـ24 “تجدد المملكة العربية السعودية دعمها لمبادرة المملكة المغربية الشقيقة للحكم الذاتي في الصحراء المغربية في إطار سيادة المغرب ووحدة ترابه الوطني كحل يتطابق مع القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقرارات مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة”.

وأشار إلى أن المبادرة المغربية للحكم الذاتي حظيت بترحيب مجلس الأمن من خلال القرارات التي صدرت منذ عام 2007، معبرا عن دعم ومساندة بلاده للجهود التي يقوم بها المغرب من أجل إيجاد حل سياسي واقعي لقضية الصحراء المغربية على أساس التوافق بناء على قرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة وتحت إشراف الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة.

وأكد أن المملكة ترحب، بهذا الشأن، بانعقاد المائدتين المستديرتين في جنيف بمشاركة المغرب والجزائر وموريتانيا و”البوليساريو”، داعيا إلى الإستمرار في هذا النهج للوصول إلى حل لهذا الصراع الطويل الأمد.

وأضاف أن المملكة ترحب بمشاركة الممثلين المنتخبين للصحراء المغربية في دورات اللجنة الـ24، وكذلك في المائدتين المستديرتين في جنيف.

وجدد أيضا تأكيد دعم بلاده للجهود المبذولة من قبل المغرب للوصول إلى حل لهذا النزاع الإقليمي، مشددا على أهمية التحلي بالحكمة والواقعية وروح التوافق من جميع الأطراف المعنية، وأن حل هذا النزاع سيساهم في تحقيق الأمن والإستقرار في كافة المنطقة.

وأعرب عن رفض المملكة لأي مساس بالمصالح العليا للمغرب أو التعدي على سيادتها أو وحدة ترابها الوطني، مبرزا جهود المغرب في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في الصحراء المغربية، وإنجازاته الجوهرية في مجال حقوق الانسان، وفي مكافحة جائحة كوفيد- 19.

كما أشاد الدبلوماسي السعودي باحترام المملكة لوقف إطلاق النار في الصحراء المغربية والعملية السلمية التي قام بها في 13 نونبر 2020 لضمان حرية الحركة في معبر الكركرات
