الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم سيقترح العربية كلغة رسمية

سيقدم رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) جاني إنفانتينو اقتراحا بأن تصبح اللغة العربية لغة رسمية في الفيفا، بحسب ما أعلنت الأخيرة أمس السبت على هامش كأس العرب المقامة في قطر.

وقال الفيفا في بيان “ي وافق اليوم الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للغة العربية، وختام منافسات النسخة الأولى من كأس العرب 2021، وتقديرا لأهمية اللغة العربية والتي يتحد ث بها 450 مليون عربي يعيشون في أكثر من 20 دولة ناطقة باللغة العربية إلى جانب الملايين من العرب حول العالم، سيقدم رئيس الفيفا اقتراحا بأن ت صبح اللغة العربية، لغة رسمية في الفيفا”.

وأضاف الفيفا أن هذا الاقتراح يأتي “عقب مناقشات طويلة مع الشركاء في قطر ومن كافة أرجاء الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، ويتزامن مع ختام كأس العرب، التي شهدت مشاركة 23 منتخبا (مع الأدوار التمهيدية) من أنحاء العالم العربي، في احتفالية رائعة بكرة القدم تجس دت فيها قيم الوحدة والتضامن في العالم العربي والمنطقة”.

يذكر أن اللغات الرسمية الأربع لفيفا حاليا هي الإنجليزية والفرنسية والألمانية والأسبانية.
