Al-Hajira Identifies Shortcomings Among Doctors at Community Health Centers in Rural and Mountainous Areas

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, Member of Parliament Mohamed Al-Hajira, along with a group of MPs from the Authenticity and Modernity Party, submitted a written question to the Minister of Health and Social Protection, inquiring about the measures the ministry will take to address the shortage of doctors in many municipal health centers.

Members of Parliament revealed that some health centers in rural and mountainous areas, in particular, are facing a severe shortage of doctors, which is exacerbating the situation and limiting citizens’ access to their right to medical care.
