Mustafa Al-Omari, regional coordinator of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in the Draa-Tafilalet region, the tremendous efforts made by female PAM activists at various stages of the struggle and in various positions within the party’s structures and organizations, while also praising the party’s comprehensive and forward-looking vision, in which women occupy a distinguished position and receive special attention from all party organizations.
Al-Omari said in a speech during the networking event for women of the Authenticity and Modernity Party in the Draa-Tafilalet region, held today, Saturday, June 18, 2022, in the city of Ouarzazate, “The clearest evidence of this trend is embodied by this regional networking meeting, which celebrates women and addresses their issues and concerns under a clear and ambitious slogan: ‘Women’s Political Empowerment: A Commitment to Party Democracy and Regional Development.’”
The regional coordinator added, “In light of the party responsibilities temporarily entrusted to me as head of the PAM’s regional structure in the Draa-Tafilalet region, I emphasize the importance of the mobilization, constant vigilance, and significant dedication that lie ahead for all of us, as well as the intensification of coordination efforts that will enable us to achieve the goals our party is pursuing, both at the national and regional levels.”
The same spokesperson added, “Achieving these goals will require us to take into account developments in public life, as well as the distinctive role and leading position our party holds within the political landscape across the Kingdom, while taking into account the specific characteristics of the region, which is young and newly established, and is in the process of building, structuring, and strengthening the party’s apparatus across the region’s five provinces, on an equal footing, and within a framework of integration, harmony, and commendable effectiveness for the party, its leaders, officials, and activists.”
