الغابون يثني على اعتراف الولايات المتحدة بسيادة المغرب على صحرائه

أشادت حكومة جمهورية الغابون، يوم الجمعة 11 دجنبر 2020، بقرار الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الاعتراف بسيادة المملكة المغربية على مجموع أقاليم الصحراء المغربية، وفتح قنصلية للولايات المتحدة بالداخلة.

وكشفت وزارة الشؤون الخارجية الغابونية أن الحكومة عبرت عن ارتياحها للاتصال الذي أجراه الملك محمد السادس مع رئيس السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية محمود عباس، والذي جدد خلاله جلالته موقف المملكة المغربية الثابت من الوضع الخاص لمدينة القدس الشريف، والتزامه الراسخ العمل من أجل تحقيق استقرار دائم بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط بين فلسطين وإسرائيل ليعيشا معا جنبا إلى جنب.

وفي الإطار ذاته، لم تفوت حكومة جمهورية الغابون الفرصة دون التعبير عن ارتياحها كذلك لالتزام الملك محمد السادس ورئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بالعمل على حل الأزمة في منطقة الخليج من أجل إحلال السلام والاستقرار في جميع البلدان العربية.
