المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي يدعم ترشيحات المغرب الحالية في المنظومة الدولية

قرر المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي، بمناسبة انعقاد دورته ال42 يومي 15 و16 فبراير الجاري بأديس أبابا تمهيدا لقمة الاتحاد، دعم الترشيحات المغربية الحالية في المنظومة الدولية.

وفي هذا الصدد، قرر المجلس دعم ترشيح المغرب لعضوية مجلس المنظمة البحرية الدولية للفترة 2024-2025، وذلك خلال الانتخابات التي ستجرى بمناسبة التئام الدورة ال33 للجمعية العامة للمنظمة البحرية الدولية، في دجنبر 2023 بلندن.

كما قرر المجلس دعم ترشيح السيد محمد شريف لإعادة انتخابه في اللجنة المعنية بحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم للفترة 2024-2027، وذلك خلال الانتخابات المقرر إجراؤها خلال الاجتماع ال11 للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية حقوق العمال المهاجرين، المقرر عقده بنيويورك في يونيو 2023.

وأخذ المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي علما بترشيح المغرب لمجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة للفترة 2028-2029، خلال الانتخابات المقرر إجراؤها في يونيو 2027 بنيويورك.

ويعكس دعم المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي لهذه الترشيحات المصداقية الكبيرة التي تتمتع بها المملكة لدى المنظمة الإفريقية، ووجاهة استراتيجية المملكة، تحت القيادة المستنيرة لصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، لتعزيز حضورها في المنظمات الدولية.

وترأس الوفد المغربي المشارك في أشغال المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج، ناصر بوريطة.
