On Friday, June 18, 2021, Abdelrahim Al-Kamili, President of the Municipal Council of Berchid, joined the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, and the Deputy Minister in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the ceremony marking the start of construction of the Higher School of Education and Training in the city of Berchid, affiliated with Hassan I University in Settat.
This project, with a budget of 42 million dirhams, is part of an effort to diversify the region’s educational offerings. It aims to establish a school that offers vocational programs to train teachers in various fields of education and training.
In conjunction with the ceremony, El Kamili, alongside the two ministers, launched a project to build a university library and the headquarters of the Doctoral Studies Center on the university campus in Settat, with a budget of 31 million dirhams funded by the university’s own revenues.
