Al-Mrabet visits Al-Alyeen to inspect the road-widening project, carried out in partnership between the M'diq-Fnideq and Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima regional councils

Mr. Mohamed Al-Arabi Al-Mrabet, President of the M'diq-Fnideq Provincial Council, led a field visit to the Al-Alyin rural commune, accompanied by officials from the Needs Assessment and Mechanisms Department and the Equipment Division of the M'diq-Fnideq Provincial Council.

The visit provided an opportunity for Mr. Al-Mrabet to inspect the progress of work on the project to widen, pave, and asphalt the road connecting the center of the Al-Alyeen commune to National Road No. 13, which will be carried out by the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council. Meanwhile, the M'diq-Fnideq Provincial Council will be responsible for installing street lighting and planting trees to enhance the aesthetics and improve the overall appearance of the road.

This road section, whose completion is part of efforts to support the region’s infrastructure and strengthen the connections between the Al-Alyeen community and neighboring rural communities, serves as a main entrance to the community leading to the weekly market, as it constitutes a key route for the passage of vehicles and trucks. Therefore, the aforementioned widening and paving project was undertaken to rehabilitate and repair the section, thereby facilitating traffic flow under optimal conditions for the benefit of all road users, from drivers to pedestrians.
