Minister Abdellatif Miraoui highlights the strong fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of the Comoros

For example, Abdelatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, represented the Moroccan government at the celebration marking the 48th anniversary of the Comoros’ independence, which was held in Rabat on July 17, 2023.

In his remarks on this occasion, Minister Miraoui highlighted the strong and deep-rooted friendly and fraternal ties between the two countries, which have continued to grow and strengthen, particularly following the high-level meeting held in Moroni in 2020. This meeting provided an opportunity to launch numerous projects across various fields, as well as to increase the number of scholarships awarded to Comorian students from 150 to 330.

The Minister of Higher Education also reaffirmed the Moroccan government’s commitment, in accordance with the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve him, to supporting the Comoros Rising 2030 Plan.
