Ghita Mezour, Deputy Minister in charge of Digital Transformation and Administrative Reform, stated that the “Technopark” technology hub is a major project that has supported some 3,000 businesses and contributed to the creation of more than 15,000 direct and indirect jobs.
In a speech delivered during the celebration marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of this technology hub, Mezour highlighted the objectives of this project, which contributes to making Morocco “a regional hub for digital transformation,” emphasizing that the hub has provided a real boost to technology-related startups by supporting them on multiple levels.
Organized under the theme “20 Years of Serving Innovative Entrepreneurship,” this celebration provided an ideal opportunity to showcase the achievements of two decades of Technopark’s activities as a driving force for fostering and stimulating synergy among various initiatives in the public and private sectors.
It should be noted that Technopark’s mission is to support young entrepreneurs in the fields of new technologies, green technology, and cultural industries, as well as in promising new professions at the regional and national levels.
