بوريس جونسون يدعو مجموعة السبع للانتهاء من تطعيم دول العالم قبل نهاية 2022

دعا رئيس الوزراء البريطاني بوريس جونسون زعماء دول مجموعة السبع إلى الالتزام بتطعيم العالم بأسره ضد فيروس كورونا قبل نهاية 2022.

وقال رئيس الوزراء البريطاني، الذي يستضيف أول قمة وجاهية للمجموعة خلال عامين تقريبا وذلك بعد انتهاء اجتماع وزراء مالية المجموعة أمس السبت، إنه سيسعى لتعهد بتحقيق هدف تحصين العالم ضد الوباء.

وأشار إلى أن “تحصين العالم بنهاية العام المقبل سيكون أكبر إنجاز منفرد في تاريخ الطب .. أدعو زعماء مجموعة السبع رفاقي إلى الانضمام إلينا للقضاء على هذا الوباء المروع والتعهد بألا نسمح أبدا بتكرار هذا الخراب الذي أحدثه فيروس كورونا”.

وينضم زعماء فرنسا وألمانيا والولايات المتحدة وإيطاليا واليابان والاتحاد الأوروبي وكندا إلى جونسون في القمة التي تعقد في كورنوال بجنوب غرب انجلترا على مدار ثلاثة أيام.

وستكون المناسبة أول جولة خارجية للرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن منذ توليه السلطة في يناير.
