Adel Barakat, President of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Regional Council, alongside the regional governor, launched the second phase of Morocco’s diplomatic outreach program for its first session, with the participation of more than 80 ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Rabat.
The group then headed deeper into the Geopark, visiting the sites of Ouzoud and Imi Nefri, as well as the dinosaur fossil site in Iouardene, and also toured the Geopark Museum in Azilal.
The association members provided detailed explanations and insights into the park’s treasures. A map of the park was also presented as a symbolic gift to the Pakistani ambassador to Morocco, in recognition of his honorary membership.
The ambassadors of the United States, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Romania, as well as the ambassadors of the Netherlands, South Korea, and Pakistan, and the representative of ISESCO, all expressed their admiration for the park and their desire to return there with their embassy staff and officials.
