As part of the organizational restructuring underway within the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in the Jerada region, and following the establishment of most local secretariats at the level of the region’s municipalities, it was the turn of the Kfayt municipality; where, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, a local conference was held to renew the members of the local secretariat’s executive committee, under the supervision of the Member of Parliament and Regional Secretary, Radwan Bouktaya;
The meeting was attended by the president of the Kfaït commune, Abdelrahman Hamzaoui, and a select group of political figures from the commune.
The meeting opened with remarks by Jamal Zawi, chair of the preparatory committee, in which he emphasized the role of young people in improving conditions in the Kfaït community, expressing his hope for organized collective action to serve the community’s interests.
For his part, Mr. Hamzaoui provided a brief overview of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), explaining to the audience the context in which the local secretariat was established—namely, to strengthen the party’s organizational structure in the Jerada region, elevate political engagement, and consolidate the principles of party governance. He also addressed the key issues that fall within the party’s priorities at the local level, foremost among which are responding to the general social needs of citizens, intensifying political awareness, and strengthening communication with young people while involving them in the dynamics of political action.
Following an extensive discussion among the attendees, the meeting proceeded to the election of the local secretariat members, resulting in the following composition:
