دبلوماسي مغربي على رأس بعثة الجامعة العربية لمتابعة انتخابات مجلس النواب المصري

أقدمت جامعة الدول العربية على تعيين الدبلوماسي المغربي أحمد رشيد خطابي الأمين العام المساعد، رئيس قطاع الرقابة على رأس وفد الجامعة لمتابعة انتخابات مجلس النواب المصري 2020، حيث تضم في عضويتها مجموعة من المتابعين ينتمون لجنسيات عربية مختلفة باستثناء جنسية بلد المقر.

وذكرت الجامعة في بيان لها يوم الثلاثاء 20 أكتوبر، أنه تم وضع برنامج عمل يتضمن إجراء مقابلات لرئيس البعثة مع الفاعلين المعنيين بهذا الاستحقاق، وتنظيم دورة تدريبية لفائدة المتابعين حول النظام الانتخابي المعمول به والاطلاع على الإجراءات ذات الصلة برصد وملاحظة كافة العمليات الانتخابية إلى غاية الإعلان عن النتائج النهائية في دجنبر المقبل، وذلك وفق المعايير الدولية المتعارف عليها وفي التزام بالقوانين المحلية، ومقتضيات مذكرة التفاهم المبرمة مع الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات بشأن متابعة الاستحقاقات الانتخابية لسنة 2020.

ومن المقرر أن تقوم البعثة بمتابعة هذا الاستحقاق بمختلف محافظات جمهورية مصر العربية اعتبارا من السبت المقبل، بهدف معاينة وقائع المشهد الانتخابي، إعدادا وتنظيما واقتراعا، وفقا للنظام القانوني المنظم للعمليات الانتخابية وقرارات الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات والمعايير والضوابط المتعارف عليها.

وتندرج مهمة هذه البعثة في إطار حرص جامعة الدول العربية على دعم مسارات الإصلاح السياسي والتطور الديموقراطي في العالم العربي، وتطلعها لأن تشكل انتخابات اعضاء مجلس النواب في هذا البلد العربي الوازن محطة واعدة في سياق حركية العمل الوطني لتوطيد دعائم الصرح المؤسساتي والإسهام الفاعل في تثبيت المقومات الاساسية للدولة المصرية.
