Abdelmoumen Al-Sabihi, President of the El Araich Municipal Council, received a group of master’s students majoring in administrative law at the Multidisciplinary Faculty of El Araich at the council’s headquarters, in the presence of several municipal council members, the director of services, and a number of university professors.
The meeting included a presentation on local governance within the municipality, followed by an interactive session to answer questions from the students, during which participants were able to learn about various aspects of the council’s work and decision-making processes at the local level.
In a statement on the occasion, Al-Subaie said, “We are pleased to welcome the master’s students in administrative law and to give them the opportunity to learn about the mechanisms of local governance.”
He added that such meetings strengthen communication between the university and the local community and help expose students to the practical realities of community management.
The president of the El Araich Municipal Council emphasized that the goal of these initiatives is to share experiences and knowledge, and to help students understand how local decisions are made and how programs that affect citizens’ daily lives are implemented.
He went on to say, “We believe that involving young people in practical discussions helps foster their civic awareness and encourages them to participate actively in the future.”
Al-Subaie concluded by saying, “We will continue to organize such interactive sessions with various university disciplines, as they serve as a platform for exchanging ideas and building a generation of professionals capable of providing innovative solutions to the challenges of local governance.”
