The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Casablanca-Settat Region and the Federation of Moroccan Workers’ and Traders’ Associations in France organized the annual seminar on the topic “Inheritance Law: What Steps Must Be Taken to Protect the Rights of Heirs in Subsequent Disputes.” The event was chaired by the president of the Chamber and the president of the Federation.
The forum was attended by several institutions and professional organizations concerned with the affairs of Moroccans around the world, as well as members of the Federation and the heads of associations and community groups abroad.
The forum provided an opportunity to highlight the most pressing issues facing Moroccans around the world, particularly those living in France.
The organization of this forum falls within the framework of the high patronage extended by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to the Moroccan diaspora abroad, and within the framework of the partnership and cooperation agreement between the two parties, as well as the Chamber’s work program, which aims to foster dialogue and consultation between members of the Moroccan diaspora and various government bodies and public institutions, in order to identify the real needs for the advancement of this segment of society.
The forum was notable for presenting a series of demands and petitions to the government agencies and institutions responsible for issues concerning Moroccans living abroad.
