Fatima Al-Saadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) and member of the Political Bureau, highlighted the positive response from the party’s female activists in the Draa-Tafilalet region to the women’s outreach meeting held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, in the city of Ouarzazate, under the slogan “Women’s Political Empowerment: A Commitment to Party Democracy and Regional Development.”
In a speech delivered during the meeting, Al-Saadi noted that the organizational initiative launched by the party to build a strong and effective women’s organization will culminate in the establishment of a national structure focused primarily on strengthening women’s capacity for representation and facilitating their integration into political life at the local, regional, and national levels, She emphasized that the meeting featured very positive contributions that, on the whole, reflected the reality of women in Moroccan society in general and in the Draa-Tafilalet region in particular.

She also expressed the desire and commitment of all the party’s female activists to build a women’s organization that reflects the party’s aspirations and its position on the Moroccan political scene.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the PAM said, “All comments will be submitted to the Political Bureau for handling in accordance with the party’s established practice, where they will be addressed through the ministerial sectors overseen by the party, as well as through written and oral questions from members of parliament,” adding “The party provides the appropriate environment and conditions for building a genuine women’s organization that serves as a pressure group and is capable of analyzing the structural issues affecting women, as well as reflecting on, discussing, and proposing solutions regarding issues related to political, economic, and social rights, and matters of equality and parity.”
