كريم الهمس يشارك في مراقبة انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس الأمريكي

يشارك عبد الكريم الهمس المستشار البرلماني عن حزب الاصالة والمعاصرة، ضمن وفد من مجلس المستشارين في عملية مراقبة انتخابات التجديد النصفي للكونغرس الأمريكي لسنة 2018، المقررة في السادس من نونبر الجاري، ضمن وفد دولي يتكون من 100 برلماني وبرلمانية يمثلون الدول الأعضاء في منظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا.

وأوضح بلاغ صادر عن مجلس المستشارين، أن هذه المشاركة تعد تتويجا للمجهودات التي تقوم بها شعبة مجلس المستشارين بدعم متواصل من رئيسه السيد حكيم بن شماش، للنهوض بشراكة المملكة المغربية مع منظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا وجمعيتها البرلمانية، وللتعريف بمسلسل الإصلاحات العميقة التي حققها المغرب في مجالات متعددة في مقدمتها حقوق الانسان، فضلا عن عمل المملكة المتواصل كشريك استراتيجي لدول المنظمة لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية وتدفق الهجرة غير الشرعية من دول جنوب المتوسط.

وحسب المصدر ذاته، استقبلت السيدة سفيرة صاحب الجلالة بواشنطن، لالة جمالة العلوي، وفد مجلس المستشارين أول أمس الأربعاء بالعاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن، حيث عبرت عن شكرها لوفد شعبة المجلس، وعن وتقديرها ودعمها للمبادرات والمجهودات التي يقوم بها أعضاء الوفد لتقوية عمل الدبلوماسية البرلمانية المغربية.

وعقد وفد مجلس المستشارين أيضا لقاء مع المفوض السامي لحقوق الانسان عن الحزب الديمقراطي بولاية نيويورك، حيث تباحث الجانبان مواضيع متعلقة بحقوق الانسان، كما تم استعراض الإصلاحات العميقة التي حققها المغرب في المجال.

والتقى وفد المجلس خلال هذه الزيارة مجموعة من الفاعلين المغاربة الأمريكيين، حيث اتفقوا على ضرورة وضع خارطة طريق لإشراك المواطنين الأمريكيين من أصل مغربي لتوطيد علاقات التعاون والشراكة بين المنتخبين المغاربة والأمريكيين.

وسيجري وفد مجلس المستشارين بالجمعية البرلمانية لمنظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا، خلال فترة الزيارة، لقاءات مع أعضاء عن مجلس الشيوخ الامريكي ومع عضو اللجنتين الفرعيتين المعنيتين بشمال افريقيا والشرق الأوسط ومحاربة الارهاب بالكونغرس السيد لي زيلدان.
