Laila Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in the Energy Sector with the Ambassador of El Salvador

Yesterday, Friday, April 4, 2025, at the ministry’s headquarters, Laila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, received Ignacio de Cossio, Ambassador of El Salvador to Morocco.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the excellent relations between the two countries and expressed their desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation through the exchange of expertise and capacity-building, particularly in the fields of energy, wastewater treatment, and infrastructure.

The Minister also outlined Morocco’s strategic vision for the energy sector, noting the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing energy security and transitioning to sustainable energy sources through major projects aimed at achieving regional integration and strengthening international partnerships.
