Abdelrahim Boustout, President of the Chichaoua Regional Council, presided over the extraordinary session of the Council, attended by the Secretary General of the Chichaoua Prefecture, members of the Regional Council, and a number of Council officials.
The session focused on a specific issue concerning the election of committee members to complete the Council’s structure. Boustout emphasized that this session is part of the implementation and enforcement of the Council’s internal regulations, particularly Article 46 thereof, as well as the correspondence with the supervisory authorities—namely the Regional Governor—who ordered the convening of an extraordinary session to elect the committees, Following this, and in accordance with the aforementioned article, the Council President submitted the nominations received from the Council’s Special Presidency regarding membership of the standing committees.
The committee chairs, vice chairs, and other members were elected as follows:
– Lahcen El Ghazi: Chair of the Committee on Budget, Finance, and Planning; and Soukaina Boukadir as Vice Chair.
– Al-Driouch Rachid: Chair of the Committee on Rural and Urban Development and Investment Revitalization, with Ourais Mimouna serving as his deputy.
– Khadija Ben Hamou: Chair of the Committee on Social Affairs and Family; Al-Fayez serves as her deputy.
