The Municipal Council of Al-Shati Al-Abyad (Guelmim Province), chaired by Mr. Hamdi Al-Omari, is currently implementing a series of high-level measures and arrangements in preparation for welcoming vacationers arriving from various destinations. These measures coincide with the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures aimed at combating the spread of the coronavirus.
Large numbers of vacationers flocked to “Fm Bou Safan” Beach on the first day of the fifth edition of the 2020 summer season. The Municipal Council is committed to ensuring the success of this edition by all means and with all available resources.
The Municipal Council of White Beach has urged vacationers to strictly adhere to the measures put in place to ensure social distancing, in order to protect their health, curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and ensure everyone’s safety. Visiting hours have been set for 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, and overnight stays are prohibited.
As part of these measures, the Council urges beachgoers to maintain a safe distance from one another—social distancing (at least 6 meters)—and to follow the instructions of security personnel, officials, and lifeguards on the beach, in addition to avoiding large gatherings of family and friends. They are also asked to keep the beach clean and respect public property.
