In preparation for the regular session of the Fez-Meknes Regional Council (July 3, 2023), the Council’s Bureau held a meeting on Thursday, June 8, 2023, attended by the members of the Bureau.
The meeting was devoted to preparations for the regular session, whose agenda includes a range of projects related to social, cultural, and tourism sectors, as well as employment and support for the education sector.
The Bureau members also reviewed draft partnership agreements aimed at improving road connectivity in the region, supporting decentralized international cooperation, and strengthening the capacity of civil society.
During this meeting, preparations were also made for the 2022–2027 Regional Development Program by reviewing the strategic guidelines for its development—one of the most important projects currently being undertaken by the Regional Council—as well as preparing for the next phases of its development.
Preparations have also been made for the Regional Council to participate in numerous national and international events related to the development of geological parks and climate issues.
