As part of efforts to monitor the progress of ongoing work at the main stadium, Mohamed Al-Shakik, President of the Municipal Council of Oued Sidi Ibrahim, accompanied by the Governor of the Marrakech-Safi Region, conducted a site visit on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, to assess the progress of work on the project’s various facilities.
The visit was attended by the director of the National Agency for Public Works, the secretary-general in charge of overseeing preparations for the 2030 World Cup, as well as representatives from relevant institutions and decentralized agencies.
The visit revealed that construction is progressing at a rapid pace across various facilities, reflecting the efforts being made to ensure the stadium is ready to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as major sporting events as part of the 2030 World Cup.
At the conclusion of the visit, a call was made to redouble efforts in the coming phase to ensure that the project is completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, in line with the established plans and required international standards.
