Participated: Mustapha El-Tahiss, President of the Municipal Council of Laouina Lhanna; in the regional consultative workshop to finalize the 2022–2027 Regional Development Program for the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, as part of a participatory approach aimed at involving all stakeholders in the development of this reference document for planning priority projects and activities in the provinces of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.
This meeting is part of the preparations for the regional development program, which focuses on identifying the key development priorities for the Guelmim-Oued Noun region in general and the Asa-Zag province in particular.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share valuable insights and opinions aimed at enriching the discussion on the regional communities’ work program and reinforcing the principle of a participatory approach, with a view to advancing development in the Asa-Zag region, in full accordance with the recommendations of the New Development Model report, which calls for the establishment of a new governance framework for local territories as partners of the state in the development process.
