In order to monitor and evaluate the work of the Marrakech-Safi Regional Chamber of Traditional Industry, the Chamber’s Executive Board, chaired by Hassan Chamis, held its monthly meeting at the Chamber’s regional office in Safi to discuss the items on the agenda.
Shamis presented the report on the Executive Committee meeting held on November 10, 2022, the monthly report on the Chamber’s activities, and the monthly progress report on the Chamber’s activities, in addition to discussing the 2023 continuing education program for traditional artisans in the region.
The meeting also featured the development of a plan of action regarding proposals to amend Law No. 09-18 governing traditional industry chambers, as well as the presentation and discussion of a draft partnership agreement to support the environmental upgrading of the pottery sector and the acquisition of gas-fired kilns in the municipalities of Tamassoult and Amizmiz.
