Members of the Authenticity and Modernity Group in the House of Representatives, led by Mr. Rachid Al-Abdi, expressed their unconditional solidarity with Member of Parliament Wiam Al-Mahrachi “following the vicious and despicable attack she was subjected to on certain social media platforms.”
In a statement signed by Mr. Rachid Al-Abdi, PAM lawmakers affirmed that they condemn this incomprehensible attack and are surprised by the use of false and fabricated information to tarnish the reputation of the parliamentarian, declaring to the national public that MP Wiam Al-Mahrachi is known for her consistent performance and attendance in Parliament and carries out her constitutional, political, and parliamentary duties in an exemplary manner.
The members of the parliamentary group believe that such despicable practices and behaviors will not derail their political and activist course or their ongoing parliamentary work; they are merely an attempt to undermine their performance.
