Mohamed Hilali, president of the Municipal Council of Sabah in the province of Temara, held a meeting at the council’s headquarters with representatives of the Temara Development Company, a representative of CTR—the company responsible for urban planning in the Al-Salam district—and a representative of the water authority.
The meeting focused on three main points and included field visits to assess the progress of urban development works in the Al-Salam neighborhood, which are nearing completion, as well as to inspect four locations where rainwater had pooled and a well site, and to order their repair.
The second visit focused on the street running directly behind the council’s headquarters to identify the obstacles hindering the completion of its improvement works, which consisted of internet poles belonging to Maroc Telecom and electrical poles belonging to Redal, which had hindered the street’s expansion and development. The president has written to both companies requesting their intervention as soon as possible to remove these obstacles.
The third visit, conducted in the company of a representative from the watershed authority, was dedicated to inspecting the drainage channels and storm drains (gutters), and the locations requiring intervention were identified.
