Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, reaffirmed the Arab Republic of Egypt’s commitment to the positions and principles set forth in the joint statement issued on May 10, 2022, which concluded the former Egyptian foreign minister’s visit to Morocco.
In remarks to the press following his meeting with Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, on Wednesday, May 28, in Rabat, the Egyptian official emphasized that the principles guiding Egypt’s foreign policy are the preservation of states’ sovereignty and territorial integrity, non-interference in their internal affairs, and working to achieve economic development for their peoples.
