المغرب يمثل المجموعة الإفريقية في المنظمة العالمية لمكافحة الأمراض المعدية

تم اختيار المغرب بالتزكية في جنيف كممثل للمجموعة الإفريقية داخل المجلس الإداري للمنظمة العالمية لمكافحة الأمراض المعدية، وذلك خلال اجتماع عقدته مجموعة السفراء الأفارقة.
وقدم سفير جمهورية إفريقيا الوسطى، بصفته منسق المجموعة الأفريقية بشأن القضايا المتعلقة بالصحة، خلال الاجتماع، نتائج اجتماع سفراء الدول الأطراف في مذكرة الاتفاق الخاصة بالانضمام للمنظمة العالمية لمكافحة الأمراض المعدية، المنعقد في خامس فبراير الجاري.

ويشكل اختيار المغرب كممثل للمجموعة الأفريقية في المنظمة العالمية لمكافحة الأمراض المعدية اعترافا جديدا بالريادة القارية للمملكة، وبعملها المتواصل ومبادراتها المتعددة للتضامن الإنساني لفائدة البلدان الأفريقية، والتزامها الدائم لفائدة التعاون من أجل رفع التحديات في قطاع الصحة وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة على مستوى القارة.

وتعمل المنظمة العالمية لمكافحة الأمراض المعدية التي يوجد مقرها في جنيف، على إيجاد حلول مبتكرة للوقاية وتشخيص الأمراض بشكل أسرع وأكثر فعالية وبتكاليف أقل في البلدان المنخفضة والمتوسطة الدخل.
