Nador: Démantèlement d’un réseau criminel s’activant dans la traite des êtres humains et l’immigration illégale (DGSN)
Les éléments de police du district provincial de sûreté nationale de la ville de Nador ont procédé, mercredi matin, en étroite coordination avec les services de la Direction générale de la surveillance du territoire (DGST), au démantèlement d’un réseau criminel organisé s’activant dans la traite des êtres humains et l’immigration illégale dans les provinces du nord du Royaume.
Dans un communiqué, la Direction générale de la sûreté nationale (DGSN) indique que les services de sûreté ont mené plusieurs interventions simultanées à Nador et dans ses environs, en particulier à Zeghanghane, Beni Chiker, Beni Boughafer, Bouarg et Selouane.
Ces opérations ont abouti à l’interpellation de 23 individus, dont des Marocains et quatre personnes issues de pays d’Afrique subsaharienne, soupçonnés d’avoir agi comme des intermédiaires pour chercher des candidats et organiser des opérations d’immigration illégale par voie maritime, outre la mobilisation d’équipements et moyens logistiques utilisés dans ces activités criminelles, précise la DGSN.
Les perquisitions menées par les éléments de la police judiciaire lors de ces interventions sécuritaires ciblées ont abouti à la saisie d’importants moyens logistiques, à savoir 125 moteurs hors-bord, huit canots pneumatiques, de grandes quantités d’instruments de navigation maritime dont des GPS, des gilets de sauvetage et des instruments de navigation et de mesure de vitesse nautique ainsi que des bidons d’essence.
Ont également été saisis 66 plaquettes de Chira, deux jet-ski, deux bateaux de plaisance ainsi que dix voitures, dont certaines portant de fausses plaques d’immatriculation, suspectées d’être utilisées pour faciliter ces activités criminelles, selon la même source.
La poursuite des recherches et investigations a permis le démantèlement, par les éléments de la police, d’un atelier de fabrication des canots pneumatiques utilisés dans ces opérations de traite des êtres humains et d’immigration des personnes dans la région de Selouane.
Elle a également permis la saisie de matériels de confection et d’assemblage des pièces de ces embarcations, ainsi que d’importantes quantités de matières premières en plastique utilisées dans la fabrication de ces canots.
Les mis en cause ont été placés en garde à vue à la disposition de l’enquête judiciaire menée sous la supervision du parquet compétent afin d’identifier tous les suspects impliqués dans ce réseau criminel et de déterminer ses ramifications et liens éventuels aussi bien au Maroc qu’à l’étranger.
Le démantèlement de ce réseau criminel, ayant des ramifications dans plusieurs régions et villes, s’inscrit dans le cadre des efforts soutenus et constants déployés par les services de la DGSN et de la DGST pour la lutte contre les réseaux d’immigration illégale et de traite des personnes.
