Mr. Mohamed El Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication and a member of the Political Bureau of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), took the podium at the party’s regional conference in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region to address questions raised by PAM delegates from the region during the conference proceedings. He stated: “It is normal and healthy for disagreements to arise among activists.” El Mehdi Bensaid continued his remarks by emphasizing that it is natural for a strong party—the second-largest political force in Morocco—to experience clashes and disagreements among its activists.
Meanwhile, El Mehdi Bensaid, a member of the Political Bureau, chose to begin his keynote address—in his capacity as Minister of Culture, Youth, and Communication—by thanking all the delegates who had made the journey to attend the party’s regional conference in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, especially those coming from the provinces on the outskirts of the region. He emphasized that it is difficult to endure the hardships of travel to attend an organizational meeting outside of election season, a task that requires strong will and sincere determination to build a strong and effective political organization.

Al-Mahdi Bensaid continued his remarks by addressing the guests at the regional conference who had accepted the invitation, including representatives from both opposition parties and the ruling coalition—namely the National Rally of Independents, the Independence Party, the Socialist Union, the Constitutional Union, the Popular Movement, the Progress and Socialism Party, and the Justice and Development Party.
Al-Mahdi Bensaid also addressed the attendees of the party’s conferences and congresses, stating that he is counting on them to communicate the party’s achievements within the government, as well as to engage with Moroccans to convey their voices to local leaders, regional elected officials, and the party’s ministers in the government, since the activists, in turn, rely on the Al-Jarrar Party’s ministers and elected officials to find solutions to their problems and address their demands.
El Mehdi Bensaid also noted that the political leadership is well aware of the pressures faced by the party’s elected officials and grassroots activists, praising the tremendous work they do and emphasizing that organizational work requires patience and perseverance to continue achieving the desired goals.
Bensaid pointed out that the political figures who now stand on the conference podium were, until recently, sitting in the audience, and that the party is open-minded, progressive, and committed to the principle of rotating leadership roles.
