PAM’s women group hold an informative meeting in Fez
The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) local secretary in Fez, Siham Alaoui Belghiti, held, on January 23, 2021, an informative meeting, with fellow female actors of various competency backgrounds.
This meeting took place under the supervision of PAM’s provincial secretary, Mohamed Slimani, and in the presence of the president of PAM’s provincial bureau for women’s organization, Najia Kajou, PAM’s coordinative representative for private education, and the president of the regional youth organization bureau.
The party’s provincial secretary welcomed all participants to this meeting as part of the new dynamic adopted by PAM’s provincial secretariat in Fez, while shedding light on the qualities and competencies of women attending this meeting, representing several sectors within Morocco’s civil society.

PAM’s provincial secretary also called for more openness towards women’s competencies, to ensure their effective contribution in the coming elections.
Mrs. Siham Alaoui, for her part, paid tribute to PAM’s role in promoting women’s capacities, as well as the party’s commitment to do them justice in order to establish parity.
Having reviewed the situation of women within the city of Fez, as well as their expectations, Mrs. Alaoui tended to shed light on PAM’s women, who have succeeded in their respective fields, and also in the management of local, regional and national affairs, while demonstrating that the strengthening of democracy remains dependent on the improvement of women’s situation, as well as their contribution to the development of the Nation.
Members of PAM’s provincial office for women organization, namely Najia Kajou, Zakia Nikrou and Nadia Harrak, tended to draw attention to the situation of women in the province, insisting on the need for more openness to women of all ages, to be integrated into the party’s dynamics, especially since women constitute a very important electoral reservoir.
The rest of participants, however, focused on ways to promote the involvement of women in PAM’s activities, through the organization of sensitization meetings to discuss the party’s positions in regards to the status of its female members.
