Morocco – PAM’s Chief Stands in Support of Tunisia Upon its Emerging Health Crisis

The Authenticity and Modernity Party has been following, with great interest, the recent developments in Tunisia, and shall therefore announce the following:

First, PAM shall express its gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI for sending urgent medical aid to our brothers in Tunisia, upon the deterioration of the latter’s epidemiological situation, and the increase in infection/death rates due to the emerging coronavirus.

Second, PAM hereby acknowledges Tunisia’s democratic path in the last few months, thus earning a leading democratic position (along with Morocco) in the eyes of both the Arab region and the EU.

Third, PAM shall declare its unconditioned solidarity with the people of Tunisia and the Tunisian constitutional institutions throughout their health ordeal.

Fourth, in light of PAM’s recent visit to Tunisia, provided the series of meetings the latter engaged in with a number of state officials, as well as its close examination of the democratic intellectual depth characterizing the Tunisian living forces, our party is confident that Tunisia shall emerge victorious, thus proving to the world its commitment to achieve democratic transition.
