Minister Fatima Zahra Mansouri presents major projects she is working on inside the government sector under her supervision
On the nature of reforms and major projects under her direct supervision inside the government cabinet, Minister of National Rehabilitation, Urbanization and City Policy, Mrs. Fatima Zahra Mansouri has stated during her invitation on Radio Med program “Without waffling”, that this Ministry has a strong economic and social dimensions and it is an important department.
Regarding the social dimension, real estate sector hires more than one million individuals of the Moroccan manpower; as for the economic dimension, it produces more than 6% of GDP, which means that it is a fundamental field in national economy.
To encourage investments, the Ministry has worked on elaborating easy procedures and many decisions have been made while 7 circulars were issued about that subject; a number of measures have been taken to make easier investments operations in our country aimed at creating more jobs opportunities and accelerate economic growth. Those measures aim also at establishing a professional relationship between citizens and the Urban Agency based on clarity and transparency. “We are also working permanently on generalizing digitization”, added Mrs. Mansouri.
Minister Mansouri has also worked on configuration designs as they have a major importance and require exceptional efforts; there is actually a challenge concerning this issue is that by the end of 2023 big cities such as Tangier, Rabat, Marrakech.. will have their own configuration designs that would make all Moroccans equal before the law.
Minister Mansouri highlighted that she is handling the files presented to her and complaints she receives with serenity and responsibility, taking into account all necessary legal measures to reach a solution to posed problems for the sake of activating the roles assigned to the Ministry as an institution.
