Hajj 2022- Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi presides over the Moroccan Pilgrimage official delegation

The Moroccan pilgrimage official delegation departed last Saturday evening, July 2, 2002, Rabat- Salé airport heading for the Holy Places to perform the Hajj rituals for 1443/2022.

The Moroccan official delegation led by Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi was greeted by Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs Mr. Ahmed Taoufiq and Secretary General of the Higher Religious Council Mr. Ahmed Yessef.

In a statement made to MAP TV channel, M24 Minister Ouahbi said “I was honored by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to preside over the Moroccan pilgrimage official delegation to the Holy Places to take care of their matters and follow up closely their conditions so that they would perform this religious pillar in the best possible conditions and reassurance.

Mr. Ouahbi has stressed the royal care His Majesty affords to Moroccan pilgrims through his attention that they would perform the Hajj rituals in the best conditions, pointing out that services offered by Saudi officials to those pilgrims will certainly help them perform their rituals in the best possible conditions.

Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty king Mohammed VI sent last June 20, 2022 a royal message to Moroccan pilgrims prior to the departure of the first delegation, which was read by Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Taoufiq.

His Majesty has called in his message on Moroccan pilgrims to represent Morocco in the best manner, by giving an idealistic image of the Moroccan people’s values of tolerance, moderation and commitment to doctrinal unity and by embracing moderation and shunning extremism, as His Majesty said: “Dear pilgrims be your country’s ambassadors in embodying those idealistic values and adhere to yourcultural identity and your national and doctrinal unity”.

His Majesty has issued his supreme instructions to Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs to purse his efforts in providing all necessary attention for the behalf of Moroccan pilgrims in the Holy Places and full accompaniment in terms of religious rituals, administrative and health services throughout all phases of the Hajj period.
