Minister of Youth officially kicked-off second part of «volunteers» program

Minister of Youth Culture and Communication Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid gave last Wednesday, August 2, 2023, the official kick-off of the second part of “volunteers” program, following the first one which has focused on civic awareness and was extended over a full week in different areas of the Kingdom.

Minister Bensaid has made an inspecting site visit to the group of young volunteers at Lalla Maryam center which belongs to the Moroccan league of the Protection of Childhood and the Yacout cooperative for home-made products.

The “volunteers” program aims at bringing more than 5000 young girls and boys between 18 to 22 years of age from all the Moroccan Kingdom’s areas to take part in this new program on two parts.

The first part is about training while the second part is about volunteering; the fact which will allow Moroccan youth to strengthen civic participation, develop skills and knowledge through an integrated varied experience for the Moroccan youth.

Youth volunteering program includes environment, sustainable development, solidarity and assistance, education, animation, heritage and culture, health, business management and sports, to allow volunteers to choose his/her topic of interest.
