Fatima Zahra Mansouri shares with Marrakech population moments of the violent earthquake aftermath and expresses her solidarity with victims’ families

​Few moments after the earthquake that struck many areas in Al Haouz region including in Marrakech, last Friday September 8, 2023, Minister of Territory Rehabilitation, Urbanization Housing and City Policy – Mayor of Marrakech communal council, Mrs. Fatima Zahra Mansouri has made a site-visit to damaged areas by the quake and has engaged with many citizens who have got out to the streets and public squares out of fear and panic they have felt following the quake.

Mrs. Fatima Zahra Mansouri has ensured Marrakech communities and called on them to be patient and calm at this critical moment for the entire nation, reaffirming that all institutions and bodies are mobilized to face this emergency situation and to provide necessary support to the affected persons.

Mrs. Mansouri has praised the spirit of solidarity and sympathy shown by citizens and also by various institutions which have intervened in such emergency hard times, stressing that Morocco will overcome this test with strength and resilience.
