Minister of Justice oversees the power handover ceremony of Mr. Abderezzak Mansouri’s investiture as the new governor of Tétouan province

Minister of Justice oversaw last Monday October 30, 2023 the power handover ceremony of Mr. Abderezzak Mansouri, appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI s as the new Governor of Tétouan province.

Minister of Justice has congratulated Mr. Mansouri for His Majesty’s trust bestowed on the new governor of Tétouan province, an area that enjoys a special care due to its strategic position and is witnessing a number of major economic and social structural projects.

Minister Ouahbi has reaffirmed on the occasion that thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has become a model for human development as this has been appreciated by the international community, and that authority officials play a big role in the implementation of the new development model aimed at encouraging income-generating activities, and self-employment of youth.

Minister Ouahbi has urged local players and enterprises to contribute to sectorial justice and to help citizens program their projects in areas with vulnerable structures, and valorize both natural and human resources with territorial communes in the context of a participative approach based on mutual consultation and listening.

The power handover ceremony was attended by the Wali of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Governor of Tangier Assilah, President of the area council, Presidents of the provincial and communal councils, representatives of judiciary, military security, of external services and NGOs players.
