2024 Budget.. Minister of Justice presents the sub-budget bill for the Ministry of Justice, the Higher Council for Judiciary Authority and the Human Rights National Council

Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has stated that the Justice Ministry will pursue for upcoming 2024 year the modernization and improvement of the legal system, through a number of legal and organizations of text bills for the 11th legislation mandate (2021-2026).

After presenting the Ministry of Justice outcome for 2023, Minister Ouahbi has highlighted that the Ministry has taken a series of measures to safeguard rights and freedoms, mainly the modernization and amendment of the penal code bill, considered as one of the most important legislative major projects along with the project bill number 43.22 related to alternative punishments seen as a legislative revolution to safeguard rights and freedoms.

Minister Ouahbi has also talked about reinforcing infrastructures of Moroccan courts and the importance of the Ministry’s human resources. The Minister has urged to strengthen international cooperation with world European, US, African and Arab partners, especially the Gulf Cooperation countries.
