Minister of Justice confirms that Morocco’s hosting the official launching for Arab plan for education and instruction is a commitment to Arab common action in the human rights field
Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has confirmed that the Moroccan Kingdom considers the official launching of Arab plan for education and instruction in the human rights field is an important moment that reflects common thinking and unified action by different active players in our area to elaborate collective visions and approaches, meet common expectations and explore future scopes.
Minister Ouahbi has outlined, in his allocution during the opening ceremony of the official launching of Arab plan for education and instruction in the human rights field held last Tuesday December 5, 2023 in Tangiers, that the Moroccan Kingdom is hopeful that this plan should represent a unified document to many initiatives by our organization and be a stimulus to our countries’ efforts and programs; pointing out to the fact that the Moroccan Kingdom had the honor to make the plan proposal and to have participated in the process of its drafting. Minister Ouahbi has expressed his hope that the plan should be an innovative proposal to develop Arab common action in the human rights field.
Minister Ouahbi has stated that “the hosting of this important regional event by the Moroccan Kingdom is an implementation of the recommendation issued by the 51st ordinary session of the Arab permanent commission for human rights hosted by Morocco in 2022, reflects Morocco’s commitment to support the initiatives made by the regional body for human rights and its contribution to push forward Arab common action in this field”.
