Minister Younes Sekkouri: Job market is witnessing dynamism and there’s unprecedented rate of jobs creation in the formal sector

Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises Employment and Competencies, Mr. Younes Sekkouri has confirmed that tech sector is opening promising scopes for job market, underlining that job market is witnessing a good dynamism which is sustained by latest figures that show an unprecedented increase in the rate of job creation in the formal sector, as for the first time more than 600 thousand jobs have been created during the first quarter of 2023.

Minister Sekkouri made clear, in his statement on the occasion of the 9th national caravan for employment at the Moroccan college of engineering last Thursday January 2024 in Rabat, organized under the slogan “Productive AI and new scopes for job market”, the importance of choosing productive AI due to its weight it enjoys in job market.

The 9th national caravan for employment, which is organized under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economic Integration Small Enterprises Employment and Competencies, focuses basically on the strategy of proximity and close cooperation with the business sector.

Partnerships agreements were signed between the Moroccan college of engineering and several companies including “Kolas Rail Maroc”, “Harmony Tech” and “SoferCom Maroc”.
