Final declaration PAM fifth national convention

​Mrs. Fatima Saadi, president of the final declaration committee of the PAM fifth national convention, read last Saturday evening, February 10, 2024 the final declaration of the fifth national convention held in Bouznika last Friday/Saturday, February 9&10, 2024. Following are the main points:

• PAM held last Friday & Saturday, February 9/10, 2024, its fifth national convention in Bouznika under the slogan “the party self-renewal to ensure its continuity”. More than 3.000 conferees have attended the national convention works from all over the Moroccan Kingdom.

• The fifth national convention highly appreciates diplomatic victories achieved by the just cause of our national territorial integrity at all international forums, under His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s wise leadership.

• The convention feels proud of the fact that Morocco was elected at the head of the UNHRC, which reconfirms our country’s regional and international credibility in terms of democracy and human rights issues.

• The convention considers that the current political context needs new political initiatives to effectively contribute to managing public government matters and therefore has come up with an innovative initiative by creating “collegial leadership” to lead upcoming phase.

• The convention reaffirms that democratic political stability is irreversible as a reality and should therefore be an incentive to reinforce genuine democratic practice at different institutions.

• It highly appreciates our country’s various achievements in the social field in terms of building a social state based on excellent education, decent housing, effective health services, and job opportunities.

• The convention feels proud towards big achievements at the level of safeguarding Moroccan women’s rights; as it highly praises His Majesty’s attention to safeguard those rights and his call to renew for the second time family status code for the behalf of more rights to women, children and Moroccan families in general.

• Considers that digitization as an essential leverage to reforms major projects and calls for the necessity of applying new digital technology to achieve targeted social and economic transition goals to enhance the quality of public services and simplify administrative measures and procedures.

• The national convention praises the government’s achievements despite different challenges such as drought and implications of the Ukraine-Russia war and the last September 8 earthquake.

• The national convention condemns the unprecedented killings, deportations, and massacres perpetrated against the Palestinian people in Gaza and so calls on all the international community and UN institutions and all vital political forces to seriously and immediately intervene to protect the Palestinian people from those horrible aggressions, genocide and mass killings in Gaza and stop all those flagrant violations of world charters and laws.
