In a scene that reflects the party’s dynamism and its commitment to upholding the principles of participatory democracy, the headquarters of the Authenticity and Modernity Party in the Tarika district of Marrakesh hosted a community meeting that brought together representatives from the Al-Mohammadi neighborhood (Al-Daoudiat), which is part of the Gueliz-Al-Nakhil regional district.
The meeting served as an open forum for discussion and the exchange of views, drawing a notable turnout of young men and women from the area, who shared their aspirations and expectations regarding the neighborhood’s revitalization and the expansion of opportunities to participate in local governance.
The remarks reflected the attendees’ high level of political awareness, as well as a clear desire to make a tangible contribution to the local development process.
The presence of the regional coordinator of the Authenticity and Modernity Youth Organization for the Marrakech-Safi region, Tarek Haidar, added a strategic dimension to the meeting’s proceedings. In his interaction with the youth, he emphasized that the current phase requires mobilizing young people capable of combining political awareness with grassroots action, stressing the importance of being open to serious initiatives and embracing local talent.
The meeting was also marked by positive interaction among the participants, with political activist Youssef Al-Balaj in attendance. The discussions highlighted the aspirations of the youth of Daoudiat for a stimulating political environment based on equal opportunities and the recognition of merit, thereby enabling the emergence of leaders capable of representing the population and defending their causes within elected institutions.
In the same vein, Karim Benshisha, a member of the regional working group, played a key organizational role by efficiently coordinating and managing the proceedings of the meeting, which contributed to the success of this networking event.
The positive response from those present reflects the level of trust he enjoys within the local community, thanks to his ongoing presence on the ground and his sensitivity to the concerns of the residents.
A number of participants expressed their support for Mr. Benshisha in the upcoming local elections, stating that this support stems from their conviction that he is capable of representing the neighborhood’s voice and defending its interests within the elected councils, as part of a vision based on accessibility and effectiveness.
