Ouahbi meets with the Portuguese Ambassador to Morocco, in Rabat

PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, received, on Tuesday (March 16, 2021), the Portuguese Ambassador to Morocco, Bernardo Futscher Pereira, at the party’s central headquarters in Rabat.

The meeting was attended by PAM’s Politburo member, Mehdi Bensaid, as well as the head of the party’s youth organization, Najoua Koukous, and fellow financial expert, Adib Benbrahim.

During the meeting, the attendees tended to exchange their views on many issues of concern to both Morocco and Portugal, on top of which come the positive developments with regard to the kingdom’s territorial integrity.

The attendees also discussed the need to strengthen their political and diplomatic links, as to promote political and cultural relations between both countries, and boost their economic collaboration in the days to come.

Throughout the meeting, officials from both sides acknowledged the fact that Morocco and Portugal share several cultural and historical aspects, while emphasizing the need to enhance the presence of Portuguese investors in Morocco, especially in areas related to tourism and renewable energies, with the hope to extend cooperation between both countries into the European and African continents.
