Minister of Justice: Amending the bill about Al Oudouls’ profession will contribute to its rehabilitation

Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has shed light on the importance of amending the status bill about rehabilitating the Oudouls’ profession (sharia law notaries), in response to problems and compulsions farcing this profession.

Minister Ouahbi confirmed last Tuesday January 24, 2024 at the second house question session that this reform includes several measures that will contribute to the rehabilitation of this profession, in addition to the improvement of the Oudouls’ working conditions.

The minister has made clear that the Ministry is working right now on creating an exchange e-platform for the behalf of the Oudouls to make easier the profession digitization and all documents processing and treatment.

Minister Ouahbi added that this platform will also contribute to facilitating reception of documents and minimizing movements of citizens to justice administration and will help the Oudouls to draft, sign and stamp concerned documents electronically.
