Mr. Ouahbi has decided not to stand as candidate for a second term

At his opening speech of the PAM fifth national convention last Friday, February 9, 2024 held in Bouznika, outgoing Secretary General Abdellatif Ouahbi has officially announced “he will not stand as candidate” for a second term.

In front of 3.500 delegates, members of the Politburo, and distinguished guests including chief of the government Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, political parties and trade unions leaders, and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Morocco, Mr. Ouahbi has raised a number of national and international questions, mainly the war in Gaza and the genocide suffered by the Palestinian people by Israeli Defense Forces/IDF.

Another part of his speech was consecrated to PAM internal organizational matters, challenges and major achievements by the party over the last four years.
